Well here are my impressions from the solo/Eva Braun gig in Becej on 4th of May...

it was great! The Penny Lane club was packed, say 100+ people, which is way over what the place can hold.

I played about 15 songs that were combination of Rebelstar and Popcycle (my previous band), people reacted fantastic singing even my back! vocals. I had my old buddies Goran, Ljuba and Natasa on harmonica, small drumset and singing with me..Extremely good reaction to Rebelstar songs which folks never heard before.

Then Eva Braun assembled at stage after 11 years and we played another 16-17 songs, with the entire place singing every single word. After almost 3 hours on stage I thought they'll carry me back home but nope...recovery was fast and we just continued to hang out with folks and chat.

Unbelievable, great people from number of cities in Serbia. The feedback on popboks.com forum is amazing.

very hot, I was sweating like never before, problems with strings and PA but no one really complained.

There will be interesting solo appearance by Milan Glavaski, on 4th of May in Penny Lane, Becej, Serbia. For the first time in 10 years the original crew of Eva Braun will play together number of songs. The gig will consist of lots of surprise, interesting instruments, and really a lot is expected from audience participation wise :-)

U bečejskom klubu Penny Lane će 4. maja, u okviru solo nastupa Milana Glavaškog (RebelStar, Eva Braun, Popcycle), nakon više od 10 godina zajedno svirati originalna postava Eve Braun.
Na „intimnom kantautorskom koncertu patološkog odmetnika i lokalnih zvezda“ sviraće se pesme RebelStara, Eve Braun, Popcycla i obrade - nešto kao "chill-out" posle energetske pilule sa Kenom Stringfellowom (na slici).
RebelStar, petočlani bend Glavaškog sa sedištem u Sent Andreji, za oko tri nedelje će objaviti promo CD sa četiri pesme.
„Album je spreman i snimamo dalje - ovim tempom biće gotov u septembru-oktobru“, kaže Milan napominjuću da je u pitanju „blago uvrnuti power country sa dozom skleroze i ozbiljnosti“.
“Sve se snima u mom studiju u Sentandreji, tako da mnogo toga zavisi od naše discipline i obaveza. Planiramo i svirke u Beogradu, ali tek nakon što se singlovi zavrte na radiju“.
Inače, RebelStar opet sa svira sa Kenom i to na Sziget festivalu, najverovatnije 10. avgusta, na sceni Spirit.

Hello everyone, just a quick note that we're back to studio, recording 3 songs in English and Serbian for our upcoming maxi-single CD. We plan to finish in few weeks and release this "promo" CD to radio stations and in limited edition to our friends. The songs will be featured at our web site rebelstar-music.com and at myspace.com/rebelstarmusic .

The songs we're recording are Space Love Song, Suburbian Skies and Walk On Your Own.
